This process can also be simply referred to as a system inspection because our team will not perform any operational procedures. Performance verification is ideal for clients who need documentation of baseline operating values in order to secure final funding, for a basis of warranty claims, and for a comparison to future operating output to determine system degradation over time.

Each package is comprised of specific on-site work and reporting completed by SEIPS technicians. The types of services offered can also be tailored to meet the specific needs of your project.

Performance Verification Package – Gold*

  • System Inspection – Verify system conforms to as-built plan set.  Observe and report system compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Open-circuit Voltage (Voc) and Polarity Verification – PV source and output circuits as needed.
  • System Output Performance Calculation – Instantaneous power vs. expected power.
  • String Performance Testing – Operating current of PV source circuits and/or output circuits.
  • Thermal Imaging – DC and AC wire terminations (as specified prior to site visit).
  • Documentation and Reporting of all Tests and Procedures

Performance Verification Package – Silver*
